We proudly announce that HOYA PROND GRAD filters received TIPA World Award 2021 as the BEST PHOTO ACCESSORY.
Every landscape photographer knows that half the battle is "waiting for the light to be just right". HOYA's PROND GRAD filters even out the odds by offering a controllable balance between the bright and dark areas (sky and land) of horizontal landscape compositions. Known colloquially as "blenders", these high quality filters are made with HOYA's ACCU-ND deposition technology, which distributes graduation equally throughout the glass surface. A further refinement is the adjustment of the way that the specific density starts and fades out inside the image area-making for a smooth and natural fade that enriches the highlights and lets the darker areas breath. These variable filters are available in 0-4 (PROND GRAD 16) and 0-5 stop (PROND GRAD 32) strengths.
TIPA WORLD AWARDS both recognize and honor industry companies and their products and serve as an important benchmark and guide for consumers in making their purchasing decisions.
